As a service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB), members of our team have over 40 combined years of high speed - low drag military operations and federal service in the harshest conditions around the world. Our team members have been protecting the Homeland by keeping our country's borders safe, protecting our nation from insider threats, interdicting criminals and narcotics, and taking the fight to those who seek to do harm.

JB

President & Co-founder

A Colorado native, JB spent nearly 30 years in the Coast Guard conducting law enforcement, search and rescue, counter-narcotic, and counter-terrorism operations logging 12-years at sea aboard a multitude of maritime platforms and commanding two ships.  He has traveled to over 40 countries working with police, military, and intelligence services around the world to achieve national security objectives.  As a diplomat in Bogota, Colombia, he was instrumental in advancing U.S. foreign policy initiatives.  After retiring from the Coast Guard, JB served as the Office of the Secretary of Defense liaison to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) where he coordinated defense support of civil authority activities in response to fires, floods, hurricanes, civil disturbance, and other events of national significance.  He served as a member of the COVID-19 task force and Operation Warp Speed where he developed a decision matrix to coordinate the distribution of resources and vaccines throughout the country.  Settling in Virginia, JB now serves as the President and Co-Founder of ATAEO.  He holds a B.S. in Government from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, a M.S. in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University, served as a research fellow at the Center for Strategic Intelligence and at the Center for Disruptive Technologies and Future Warfare.  He is a certified National Rifle Association Training Counselor, US Concealed Carry Association Instructor, Chief Range Safety Officer, and a volunteer with the Civil Air Patrol.

CORI

Co-founder & Chief of Operations

​An Oregon native and dedicated military spouse now based in Virginia, she has over 14 years of experience across private industry and government—from boots-on-the-ground roles to high-level national security operations. Her career spans local, state, and federal agencies, including the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, Oregon State Police, National Marine Fisheries Service, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.  She has served as an evidence technician, import consumer safety officer, policy analyst, investigator, and a watch-commander at the National Targeting Center, where she led efforts to identify potential terrorist threats in the U.S. food supply chain. Cori is a mission-driven operator with global perspective. While living in Bogotá, Colombia, she actively supported high-profile Department of State missions, assisting with visits by top military and Congressional leaders, including the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the House Armed Services Committee. She also dedicated time to volunteering at orphanages and hospitals for wounded warriors—proving that service is at the heart of everything she does. Cori is the Co-Founder and Chief of Operations of ATAEO, leading strategic growth and operational excellence. She holds a B.S. in Marine Fisheries from Texas A&M University and is a certified Chief Range Safety Officer and Firearms Instructor through the NRA. She also serves as Deputy Commander of a Civil Air Patrol squadron.
