NRA CERTIFIED TRAINING
First Steps Pistol, $155 person:
NRA First Steps Pistol is an interactive class designed to provide you a basic hands-on introduction to the safe and proper handling of a pistol. The class portion is 3 hours long and the required qualification on the range is approximately 2 additional hours.
What You Will Learn:
Rules for safe gun handling Pistol parts and operation
Ammunition
Shooting fundamentals
Pistol maintenance
Opportunities for skill development

Students will receive the Basics of Pistol Shooting book, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, and First Steps Course completion certificate.
How You Benefit:
Completion of the course and qualification will allow eligible students to apply for their Virginia Concealed Carry permit.
You will learn new skills to become a safe and responsible firearms owner.
